Serving seasonal, British food with a relaxing atmosphere. The Fire Stables is a modern bar and dining room located in the heart of Wimbledon Village for all to enjoy.

Our dynamic team are serving world-class cocktails, along with a great selection of beers, fine wines and premium spirits. Whilst our kitchen, is offering everything from a classic brunch on Saturday mornings, light lunches and sandwiches during the week, along with our delightful evening menu and the best Sunday roasts in the Village.

A Sunday roast to remember

Sundays with us are busy year round, and with a kitchen team who are passionate about traditional Autumn and winter flavours whilst using quality British and seasonal ingredients, you can taste why. Whether you are looking to enjoy a glass of red with a Rump of west country beef, a glass of white with a Sutton hubbard half chicken, or a Bloody Mary with our show stopping Dingly dell pork roast, you will always leave tummy full and heart happy.

Brunch in the village

The village asked for more tasty brunch and we listened. We open our doors at 10am on Fridays and Saturdays, and 11am on Sundays, serving everything from a classic full English, to eggs Benedict and homemade granola. Want to spice up your breakfast? We will also be serving breakfast cocktails from 10am!

Dog friendly

With Wimbledon common and Putney heath right around the corner, take your four-legged friend for a lovely walk followed by a tasty meal at our pub. All well behaved two-legged and four-legged friends are welcome here!

Tasty winter cocktails

We have a delightful wine menu year round, but to add some sparkle to the chilly Autumn and winter months, we serve a divine cocktail menu throughout the winter. Using only the best spirits, you can taste the quality in every sip. Enjoy classics and a few seasonal specials from October onwards.

Great local – June 2024

We used to visit The Fire Stables and have recently made a return. Its a great local restaurant/pub. The staff are attentive but not over bearing and extremely friendly and professional. The food is great and piping hot. Its a great place to visit for brunch, lunch or dinner with friends or family. You won’t be disappointed.

Haven’t been for a while so was delighted with excellent food, lovely attentive staff and a really nice, relaxed atmosphere. Good airy summer venue with the windows all open at the front too. Will be back.

Lovely dinner – June 2024

Walking around Wimbledon village looking for a great dinner we stumbled upon the Fore Stables! The staff was super accommodating (we were a bit annoying asking for a comfortable table and had people join us by surprise, shoutout to Hiteshi for being patient with us) and helped us out with what we needed. We also got to taste and choose the wine of our preference! The food was very tasty and flavorsome. Massive Fish&chips, perfectly cooked steak. But the winner of the dinner was the prawn starter. Will definitely recommend to others and return for a Sunday Roast!
